I feel so much pain for the people who lost their children and loved ones in that shooting in Connecticut. It's been hard for me to concentrate on anything since then.
My last post mentioned a feeling of optimism in the air for 2013. After an event like this, it's difficult to feel optimistic about anything, right? I've felt a mixture of anger and grief that's hard to put into words.
So I'll sign off this post by saying that all of those dear children and adults who were killed in Connecticut are in my heart and mind today, and they will be for days and weeks -- even years -- to come.
